Well, you have decided to invade Japan. Though many praise you for not using nuclear weapons and killing civilians, even more criticize you for the eventual loss of American life. The war rages on for another 4 years. The loss of American life totals over 1,000,000 over this period of time. The loss of Japanese life is an even greater number, totaling over 3,000,000. Tokyo eventually falls, however. the United States is victorious, but the toll it takes on both countries is immense. While Europe had been recovering from the war there, both the United States and Japan have far more wounds to lick. Peace is eventually come to, but the recovery process rages on until almost the 1960's in the United States and even longer in Japan. Maybe you should have bombed.
